CHATTY AND TALKATIVE by Dreamy Poetess " Chatty " and " talkative ", what's the difference between the two? When I say, "My neighbor is so chatty , she always wants someone to talk to, About the weather and what's going on." Should I refer to her as talkative too? A chatty person enjoys engaging in conversation. This person likes that social function. But being talkative on the other hand, Is a general term throughout the land. A chatty person can be talkative. But talkative may not be chatty. In conversations, both are active.
