In using words, I have uncertainty.
If I did not use a dictionary.

CHATTY AND TALKATIVE by Dreamy Poetess " Chatty " and " talkative ", what's the difference between the two? When I say, "My neighbor is so chatty , she always wants someone to talk to, About the weather and what's going on." Should I refer to her as talkative too? A chatty person enjoys engaging in conversation. This person likes that social function. But being talkative on the other hand, Is a general term throughout the land. A chatty person can be talkative. But talkative may not be chatty. In conversations, both are active. Both typically talk heartily. ++++++++++ Chatty and Talkative Chatty typically refers to someone who is fond of chatting or engaging in casual conversation. This person may enjoy discussing everyday topics and may be sociable and friendly.
